Ever wanted to make ice cream from scratch but don’t have the patience for it to freeze? Well I have some good news folks, this new kiosk makes ice cream right in front of you using liquid nitrogen. I know the inner geek in you is getting really excited to see a cool science show. I love their whole Laboratory concept, from the test tubes to Lab Gown outfits – quite entertaining.
First they add Milk and your choice of toppings (mine was cookie dough). Then they add some Liquid Nitrogen, look at that awesome chilly smoke:
Then voila! Instant Cookie Dough ice cream. In terms of taste it’s more on the ordinary side but I believe the entertainment it comes with makes it all worth it. One thing I did admire with this cup is that the cookie dough is soft and chewy unlike most ready-to-eat ice cream tubs wherein it’s hard to bite.
