In the world you find 7eleven or starbucks branches in every corner, but in the Philippines you may also find Julie’s Bakeshop serving the freshest pastries at any time of the day. I grew up eating their classic pandesal and a filipino version of ensaymada – my favorites!

On its 30th year they recently launched two contests: Istoryahee and Julie’scious Smiles Photo Contest. The winners for the photo contest was announced already last september 5! Winners get to bring home as much as P25K plus gift certificates!
But then the Istoryahee contest wherein you submit a unique experience – story that takes place in the bakeshop, the best stories get to be produced in a video! I’m eager to see who wins and takes home crazy cash prizes. The contest is till september 20, so announcement of winners will be after so. I cannot wait to read what creative stories may unfold in a bakeshop – maybe meet the love of your life or have a life changing experience. I cannot wait for September 20, I’ll definitely stay in tune when they announce the winners (will blog about it).
I’m quite happy to see one of our local stores making it big in the country wherein almost everything is an international franchise.
