One of the many Filipino traditions is to have “merienda” or an afternoon snack. Setting chips and chocolate aside I roasted some cauliflower and broccoli in the oven. Step aside your skepticism and try this one out. Absolutely delicious.
Roasted Broccoli and Cauliflower
1 tsp vegetable/olive oil
2 tbsp chopped garlic
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp italian season powder
1/3 c grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Pre heat oven: 220 degrees Celsius. Just mix up all ingredients in a zip lock bag or a large bowl. Lightly grease pan, and transfer the mixed ingredients in. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
